Frequently asked

Answers, before you ask.

The questions applicants ask us most often — about how we work, what we charge, and how we keep your case in safe hands.

01

Getting started

How the platform works, what it costs, and what to expect.

Balamonis is a technology platform for global mobility. We help students, professionals, and families navigate education, careers, and residency pathways across borders — combining an AI-guided assessment, smart document tools, and routing to licensed partners when regulated advice is required.

Yes. Anyone can complete the free assessment without a credit card and receive a personalized pathway report. Paid plans and one-time packages exist for deeper, ongoing support — see our Pricing page.

About three to five minutes. Five short steps: goal, destination, basic profile, background, and review.

You can submit an assessment as a guest, but creating an account lets you save your case, upload documents securely, and track milestones on your dashboard.

02

Our role

What we do, what we do not, and how we work with licensed partners.

No. Balamonis is not a law firm and we do not provide legal advice. We provide technology, document preparation, and workflow coordination. For regulated advice we route you to licensed immigration professionals — RCIC in Canada, OISC in the UK, MARA in Australia, and equivalents in other jurisdictions.

No. Those decisions are made by universities, employers, and immigration authorities. We help you put the strongest, best-prepared application in front of them — and route regulated representation to licensed specialists.

Partners are vetted for their licensing status, jurisdictional authority, specialty areas, and capacity. Every routing event is logged with the partner, jurisdiction, and the date of handoff so the chain of custody is auditable.

Yes. You can keep working with your existing representation and use Balamonis purely for the assessment, document vault, and case-tracking tools.

Countries & pathways

Where we work, and what we can help with.

Our platform supports a roadmap of 50+ destination countries across six continents — including the United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Australia, UAE, Singapore, Ireland, Germany, New Zealand, and many more. See our Countries page for the full list.

Four pillars: Education (admissions, scholarships, student visas), Careers (international jobs, work visas), Mobility (permanent residency, citizenship pathways), and Documentation (preparation, translation, apostille).

Start with the free assessment. We will return a personalized roadmap with the Express Entry pathways you qualify for, your estimated CRS profile, the document checklist, timeline, and licensed RCIC partners available for the regulated portion of the case.

Yes. PR pathways are usually household-scoped. The platform models the principal applicant plus dependents, runs joint scoring where applicable, and tracks each dependent's document checklist separately.

04

Documents, data & security

How we handle your sensitive information.

Documents you upload are stored in encrypted object storage with row-level access policies. Only you and the licensed partner assigned to your case can read them. Operations staff cannot read documents without explicit grant.

Yes. You can export your complete case data at any time and request deletion of your account and all associated documents. Deletion is permanent within 30 days of the request.

No. We do not sell user data and we do not share it with third parties except the licensed partner you choose to route your case to. Analytics events are aggregated and anonymized.

Email + password sign-in is backed by Supabase Auth with rate-limiting and breach detection. Social sign-in via Google and GitHub is also supported. We strongly recommend enabling two-factor authentication on your linked account.

05
